Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions:
When do bookings open?
For the 2022 dementia course there is a long waiting list from previous years. Booking links will be sent in early October. Unfortunately there is unlikely to be space if you are not already on the waiting list and have received and email from us explaining the process.
How much does it cost?
Fees for the 2022 course, which include lunch, dinner, tea and coffee, are as follows:
- £320 to attend both Days 1 & 2 in person
- £100 to attend the meeting virtually
Please note: Overnight accommodation is not included in the fees. See information about accommodation on Venue page.
How do Ipay?
When you register an invoice with payment details will be automatically sent to you. Payment is by bank transfer only.
May I stay the night before?
Yes. This must be booked directly on-line via Homerton college, at least 48 hours before your arrival date. Please note that dinner is not available the night before the course.
Can I park at Homerton?
Yes, there is a free car park at Homerton, however please note that this year owing to building works the car park will be much reduced in size compared to previous years so please consider alternative means of transport.
Start and finish times?
Timings will be similar to previous years: Registration will open on Wednesday at 9.00am with a welcome cup of coffee, with the first session at 9.30am. The day finishes about 5.30pm. Thursday: registration 8.30am, first lecture at 9.00am, finishing about 5.30pm. Friday: 9.00 – 4.30pm.
I have special dietary needs – eg vegetarian, vegan, no beef … Can these be catered for?
Yes, no problem. Please indicate any special needs on the application form.
The course is accredited with the Royal College of Physicians at 6 points per day, thus attendance for day 1 only: 6 points, days 1 and 2: 12 points. You will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.
